|- Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management|
APICS awards the Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) to individuals who meet rigorous criteria and make valuable contributions to the production and inventory management field. The distinguishing characteristic of a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) is the willingness to share acquired knowledge with others through presenting, teaching, publishing, and participating in APICS educational activities. This knowledge sharing must be performed in ways above and beyond a candidate's normal job duties. To obtain the CFPIM designation, an application form must be completed and submitted to APICS. Points are awarded based on the following criteria: CPIM exams, presentations, published works, classroom teaching, and various volunteer/practitioner activities. To date, more than 2,500 professionals have earned this prestigious CPIM designation.
Candidates achieving CFPIM status earn the right to use this title, and receive personalized certificate suitable for framing as well as a recognition pin.
|- Certified in Integrated Resource Management|
The innovative Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) program is designed to transform professionals from functional specialists into organizational leaders. The program develops an individual's understanding of multiple business functions and how they affect each other. People from varied disciplines learn to work together to establish and achieve common goals.
The result: highly valued leaders who have a comprehensive view of the entire enterprise and are effective using the kind of team-based, cross-functional approach being adopted by a growing number of progressive, competitive, successful organizations worldwide.
The CIRM body of knowledge is divided into five complimentary modules, each with its own examination. The first four modules cover the scope of various functions and their independencies with an enterprise, while the fifth module unites the enterprise, summarizing the interrelationships of preceding course areas and cross-functional activities.
The Enterprise Concepts and Fundamentals module is recommended as the first module in the program, the remaining three may be taken in any order, but all must be passed before sitting for the fifth, Integrated Enterprise Management ("Capstone") exam. CIRM certification is awarded upon successful completion of the five exams.
