Steve Raetz, Dir. Research and Market Intelligence, joined C.H. Robinson in 1989 and currently focuses on areas contributing to the evolution of C.H. Robinsonís supply chain value proposition to its clients, supporting client sales and relationship strategies through transportation market insights and academic research. Previously Mr. Raetz led CHRís consulting team, was General Manager of Minneapolis National Accounts and served as the Southeast Regional Transportation Manager for the Quaker Oats Co. Further, Mr. Raetz is a well-known industry specific author having published numerous articles, such as: Do Higher Truckload Rates Bring Better Performance?; How to Talk Transportation Budgets with Non-Transportation Professionals; and The Role of Live Loading in an Effective Transportation Strategy, to name a few examples. Mr. Raetz, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Teaching from Minnesota State University, Mankato, also sits on three university supply chain program advisory boards.
