This year has all of the usual variables - Trade negotiations, employment, wages, consumer spending, prices/inflation, the housing market - which way will these go? Edward Stuart is Emeritus Professor of Economics and International/Intercultural Studies at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to numerous speaking engagements, and articles, Dr. Stuart has been a frequent guest on WTTW's Chicago Tonight program. Dr. Stuart also appears as a commentator on the WGN news. Dr. Stuart earned his PH.D. in Economics at the University of Oklahoma and has been a member of the faculty at NEIU since 1986. Dr. Stuart also teaches courses at IIT.
