Company Information   We have been retained by our Client, who specializes in concrete and material placing equipment, to find a Lean Program Manager for their Sturtevant, Wisconsin operation. Our Client offers a complete line of Truck-Mounted Concrete Boom Pumps, Separate Placing Booms, Truck-Mounted Telescopic Conveyors and Trailer-Mounted Line Pumps. In addition, the company provides a wide range of mortar, grout, shotcrete, plaster and fireproofing pumps and mixers, industrial pumps, and tunneling machinery.
Job Duties   The Lean Program Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager for the Sturtevant operation and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Lean Systems development and improvement within this location. Included in the responsibilities are the planning, preparing, and training of employees in the manufacturing concepts of Lean Manufacturing philosophy.
Skills/Knowledge   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Propose and implement new lean programs directed at cost reduction, work simplification * Direct manufacturing engineering team and overall team of 6 employees * Establish metrics to analyze data for future improvements * Develop Lean Training curriculum * Help to prepare and conduct Kaizen workshops * Support all departments in the Lean Manufacturing program * Mentor and train Lean Manufacturing concepts throughout organization * Accumulate KPI data and report to management leadership * Align SAP systems with Lean Program * Implement and maintain continuous improvement programs Qualification Requirements: * Familiar with or direct experience in manufacturing processes for heavy equipment manufacturing * Accurate, detailed, and organized * ERP system experience, preferably SAP experience * Language skills in German or Spanish a plus * Cross-function teams experience Education and Training * Bachelorís Degree in Engineering or equivalent * Lean manufacturing knowledge and record of applying lean principals * Six Sigma or Lean certifications a plus
