2020 a year like no other. In an effort to provide Members, and the Chicago Area Supply Chain Community, with timely information APICS-Chicago started offering Economic Update for 20 minutes every other Thursday at 9:05 AM. Semi-monthly Dr. Edward F. Stuart has been offering his analysis of current Economic activity with emphasis on its effect on the Supply Chain. This event, Economic Outlook 2021, is an opportuntiy to have Dr. Stuart go into greater detail on certain of the forces that have only been touched on during the Thursday Economic Updates. Economic forces that are likely to influence the U.S. Economy and the Global Economy throughout the coming year.

In addition to reflections on the past year, and a discussion of the year ahead, Dr. Stuart will answer questions at the end of the Economic Outlook 2021 presentation - something, due to limited time, Dr. Stuart is unable to engage in during the 20-minute every other Thursday Economic Update sessions.

Remember back in January of 2020, back when we were hoping for 3% annual growth in GDP - when we thought that tariffs might pose an outsized influence on the Economy? If only. An though we still have tariff issues, tariffs get very little press. This has been a year where Epidemiologists have had almost as much to say about economic activity as have Economists. However, in terms of understanding Economic activity, and given any course of action, what is likely to happen to the Economy as we go forward, it is best to have an Economist provide Economic analysis and insight. Fortunately, Dr. Edward F. Stuart returns to present Economic Outlook 2021, which will provide details, commentary, and insights on the Economic issues that will confront us during the coming year. If you and your business are likely to be affected by what happens with the U.S. Economy Click Here to register and Join us for Economic Outlook 2021. Please note: While this Webinar is being held at No Charge, you must register to receive log-in information, which will be emailed to registrants at 3:45P the day of the event.
